The Cultural Arts Center will host a variety of programs, each designed to support our creative community and enrich our cultural economy. Several of these on-going programs have been housed in the Arna Bontemps African American Museum. Hosted in classrooms and venues across the city, they will soon enjoy a permanent home in the Cultural Arts Center. These include:

- Renaissance School of Music (Bontempian Big Band), est. 2002
- Adult & Junior Writers Guild, est. 1993
- Arna Bontemps lecture series/Symposium, est. 2004
- Cultural Arts & Entertainment Exchange, est. 2012
In addition to these existing programs, we will be able to offer community and art classes and a year-round calendar of performing arts events. The new multipurpose space will provide endless opportunities for expanded culturally-rich programming for all of Central Louisiana!
